AlEX KNOWS

     Alex Snipes grew up in Evergreen, MS and attended grammar school at Dorsey Attendance Center. He graduated from Itawamaba Agricultural High School in 2006. He attained his associates degree from Itawamaba Community College. He is also an alumni of The University of Mississippi, where he earned a bachelors degree in accounting with a minor in finance.

     In high school he worked the family farm where his passion for animal care began. Upon graduating high school he began employment at Sears while attending college. He would stay with Sears until the Tupelo location closed in 2019. Alex sits on the Board of Trustees for Second Chances Animal Rescue based out of Pontotoc, MS. He has been actively involved with the rescue, rehabilitation, and relocation of animals in dire situations since 2015.

     Alex first got into insurance because his grandmother had an issue getting into contact with her current broker. After many attempts to get in contact with the representative he reached out to an old friend from Sears that had gotten into the insurance business years before. After a long conversation he came to the realization that his grandmother wasn’t alone. Too many times people are taken advantage of because of their age or lack of knowledge. The largest motivator was to prevent people from being taken advantage of. That’s where it started and it continues to this day.
